I thought I'd post tonight since tomorrow should be a really busy day. Mom flies into town in the morning. (Justin went back to Columbus yesterday to teach his Wednesday class - he will come back after his Monday class next week unless this baby gives him a reason to show up earlier.) I have my 40 week appt in early afternoon and a midterm in late afternoon. So, if I have a spare moment, I really ought to study not post on my blog.
This past Saturday was a beautiful fall day. So, Justin and I decided to hike up to the top of Mount Tabor - this beautiful city park only 30 blocks from my house. Don't worry... it is not as crazy as it sounds. It is a large hill for sure, but not a mountain. Embarrassingly, I had never been to the top of Mount Tabor prior to this weekend. Anyhow, you can see downtown Portland from one side and if the clouds cooperate, Mt Hood from the other. I live behind where I am standing by about 40 or so blocks, or approximately half way between the hill and downtown.
