Laying around and doing nothing

Last year at this time, I/we took our first cruise. We laid around, ate lots of yummy foods, saw beautiful scenery, took pictures of beautiful scenery, and managed not to blog any of it. To be fair, I only recently discovered said pictures since the camera battery broke at the end of the trip, we moved twice and then I forgot.

With quite a bit of guilt...we aren't cruise people, are we?... we were talking just the other day how a cruise forces the wind down of a really hectic end of the school year run. And wouldn't it be nice to not have to do anything right now!

Well, it seems the universe has listened because today I get to go have surgery on my foot. that I broke yesterday. in the garden. walking. Yeah.
