Isn't it strange how kids will all of a sudden refuse to do something?!? (On second thought, maybe this isn't just a kid trait... there are times when I just decide I'm done with something - a piece of clothing, a recipe, etc - and move on.)
After months of Martin showering with us (mostly with J), he decided a month ago that he was anti-shower. Not only was he anti-shower, but thought EVERYONE should be anti-shower. We think it might be because he associated showering with J getting ready for work. If you stop the shower, certainly it should stop the favorite playmate from leaving the house, right?
So, I decided it was time to introduce bubble baths. When we were shopping, I made this big deal out of picking up some bubble bath. While Martin is still not in love with the shower, he has decided bubble baths are pretty nice. In turn, we at least get some water on his body a couple times a week.
Now if only he would just stop screeching every time J goes to get into the shower!
