The only way I've made it through this term is by the generosity of a few family members (Arie, Mom, Pam, Bob and Rosie) who were willing to come and camp out in my tiny apartment and take care of Martin while I went to class. For that, I am more thankful than I can possibly articulate to each of them.
So, my cousin (but in a lot of ways sister) Pam came out last week. It was great getting to know her a little better and we had a blast! She just posted such a clever summation of the week. Check it out!

hey how was seattle?! by the way, theres a TON more pictures. i took 80+...i can e-mail them to you? especially the ones of you & martin, bet you dont have too many of those :-)
i thought about kyong a lot that week, inadvertently i had put up a wall for everything that happened before the divorce...and all these memories poured out that i thought id never remember, whether it was because i didnt want to or it just hurt too much. i went home to beth and just cried, but they were happy tears! i felt closer to her for that moment and definitely more appreciative...she was such a good mom.
thank you so much for letting me come. we worked some and played some...mostly play, but it was a blast! love you, see you in a couple of weeks
