Actually, we have been talking about getting a piano for years and when we moved into the current house, I even had a place picked out for one (and demanded that the china cabinet be moved accordingly). So, in the last few weeks, we have gone to play used pianos several times at a big local warehouse. After playing quite a few, I decided that for the money, I like action and tone on this piano the best. Besides, the place that we bought it from will allow us to upgrade it at any time, applying our original purchase price to that of the upgrade.
Justin is excited to learn to play and I'm thrilled to be able to relax at the end of the day with our new piano!
Our Piano!

well I guess the first post didn't post so here it is again. I am so happy you have the new piano. You will have years of enjoyment with it and your children also. How very nice. I remember the old piano I gave to your parents with the promise they would allow each of the children the opportunity to learn to play. They kept their promise and this is an extention of that. How happy that makes us. We love you. Grandma and Grandpa
You're SO lucky Nicole. Ryan and I also have a special place set aside for a piano (it's going on the wall behind the table where the big flower picture is now---we'll get rid of that as soon as we get a piano) so I know what you mean. You're going to love it. I think having a piano is sortof like getting your first washing machine and dryer and your first couch that didn't come off the street or from a garage sale for $10. It makes you feel like you are a little more grown. Love you.
I just read again your site and was hoping something new had been added but still enjoyed reading again about the piano etc. My Mother, your great gramma, spoke very well of the Story and Clarke piano and she had tried them all and had such an excellent ear for tone etc that I think you have made a good investment. I think you will get lots of years and enjoyment from your 'new' piano. I am so happy you have it.
Love the new piano - and I am enjoying the blog!!
Well I finally found your blog site. Keep up the on going events. The piano looks really cool. I'll look forward to hearing you play.
