Martin has become very vocal lately. He has several growls (one for the lion and one for the polar bear). He babels mama and other things a lot, but it isn't in context. What does it say about our parenting that Martin's first word to be used in context and consistently is a variation of "all done"? We taught it to him as a sign in an effort to curb the screaming. Now he screams, but then if you ask him if he is all done, he throws his hands up in the air and says "ahdun." Better, right?
In other milestone news, at his 12 month+1 day check up he still had not reached 21 lbs (just shy) but had grown to 31 inches! Such a tall boy! He then grew his 7th tooth 2 days later. We are still waiting on tooth number 8.
