An exciting announcement

Well, I've been slacking on the blog. And while it mostly has to do with the fact that I'm a slacker, I do have a fairly decent reason for slacking! I've been sick for the past 5 weeks or so... you know, that sickness that never leaves and is accompanied by an extreme need to sleep several more hours each and every day?

Yes, Justin and I are expecting a baby in November probably around Thanksgiving!

It is a bit unexpected and scary, but we are excited to welcome this new addition to our family. Our parents and siblings couldn't be more happy. We are sure the extended family will feel the same way.

Oh honey, how happy we are for you and Justin. It's funny but I really wasn't that surprised. In fact Grandpa and I were discussing who would be the next grandbaby and you and Justin were the parents. :) I guess I knew with some uncanny sixth sense grandma's have. soooooo happy to have another little one coming. We are here at Crookston's in Texas. We will leave on Monday for home. Aunt Becca is waiting for her first grandbaby, which is anyday now. Amanda's due date is the 4th I think. She will go on the 12th for two weeks I think to be with her after the baby is here. We will see them in June when we come for Michael's wedding. Love you both and thanks for the grand news!!xoxoxoxoxo

Congratulations! We are so happy for you. I hope your "morning sickness" doesn't last long and that you have a good pregnancy. Keep us posted on all the updates. Love to you and Justin.

I felt so bad that I missed you, but in the end I was so glad I didn't go because Connor ended up getting more sick than he ever had. It was a rough weekend, so it was good that I didn't go. I wouldn't have been able to bring him around the twins, so I basically would've gone up just to turn around and come home...more than likely with no sleep considering he stayed up for three days straight...it was pretty ugly.

I'm sorry you're sick. I can sympathize. Sometimes, not always, but sometimes it gets better. Unisom helped me a lot. Its actually a sleeping (mild) pill, but if you take it with a B vitamin that usually counteracts the drowsiness adn in the end, that really helped. I'm so sorry. Let me know if you need anything.

Love, Mar
