... sent in my acceptance of Portland State's acceptance of me as a potential PhD candidate. IF that isn't a convoluted statement with way to many contingencies, I don't know what is.
I am very excited to report on this news and very sorry to say that I have no further details as to the logistics of this move (at least none that I'll publicly admit to at this point). Mostly, I am excited to get back into the classroom; Justin and I are thrilled to get back to the west coast where the skiing, surfing, and remote camping are all an hour away. You'll just have to check back later to see how we intend to pull this off.

congratulations on school. I spent alot of time in Boston and know that the schools there such as MIT are great, but I think in terms of quality of life: "The West is the Best." If I ever make it back to the U.S. I am definitely gonna have to make it there, especially ALASKA. You should try and make a voyage there.

NICOLIE;;;;CONGRATULATIONS SWEET GIRL!!!!!! We will be happy to have you closer also. We will be waiting with bated breath. Is that spelled right? -It's been a long time since I've been in school and spelling is just one of the lesser things I seem to forget sometimes. Oh well we will be not breathing until you let us know. How's that. :) That's a long move isn't it. We have friends from here now living in Portland area. Maybe you remember the Bartles. Gary Bartle is a little older than you but he and his Dad were our home teachers from the time he was a deacon to when he went to BYU. they have two darling little boys now and I get there newsletter each week so I have watched the grow up too. Maybe you will be close to them. I think they live in Beaverton. love you and let us know soooooooooooooon xoxoxo
We are still waiting. Grandpa looked up Portland State's credentionls etc. He hadn't realized it is as big as it is. It will be fun to have someone up in that area. Hurry up and move. Love you xoxoxox
